Previously only available in a 5 gallon bag in box container for on-premise locations, Roaring Lion is also offered available in this 16.9 oz PET bottle. Marketed as a product with the 'same taste characteristics as Red Bull' and the 'same Benefits as Red Bull', Roaring Lion has clearly established itself as a me-too product. This leaves only price and packaging as the points of differentiation. On the appearance front, we feel that this product looks very 'no-frills' in comparison to the rest of the products in this category. It certainly would not compel us to purchase the product, unless it carried an extremely discounted price.
