While the Chronic Cola’s flavor is fully in keeping with that of a diluted diet cola, there’s a slightly metallic, more than slightly off-putting smell to the stuff, slightly chemical, that left us wary. The silver and red can is also kind of unattractive; the printing seems faded and anyone who’s ever actually found – or been scared of finding -- a yellowjacket in their soda can is likely to steer clear of this stuff. Still, cola is a fine flavor for energy drinks and one that hasn’t been used enough, and this one is worth a try for that reason alone.
