| Bliss Energy Drink Low CarbBliss Group, Inc. |
Bliss isn’t a terrible entrant into the energy drink category. Its 8.4 oz cans have a simple, orange-and-brown earth tone sun, on an orange background, highlighted by pleasant blue lettering with the words “Bliss Energy Drink.” Bliss is not too syrupy or sweet – it might even be called “crisp” – but it has an unpleasantly sour aftertaste reminiscent of concentrated apple juice. The product is one only a few mid-calorie energy drinks. Bliss uses an ace-k/sucralose combo to acheive this effect. In the cup, Bliss is pretty ugly – it looks like a carbonated medicine – but if it truly does manage to “increase libido,” (one of its stated design functions) we imagine there will be a lot of people drinking it. If not – and it probably is a long shot, although we’re happy to get back to you later with the results – it’s probably yet another short-term Red Bull clone.
