Caballo Negro (Black Horse) is a new energy drink from Distribuidores De La Energia, Inc. This product was specifically designed to appeal to Mexican-Americans, a segment of the US population that is steadily increasing. The label features the colors of the Mexican flag and is fully bilingual (Spanish/English), but it is diffult to read because the black text uses a thin font and the text runs over red, green, white, and silver colors. Caballo Negro's flavor is fruity, but a mild afteraste is left behind from the active ingredients in this product. Overall, Caballo Negro is a good first effort that's biggest selling point is its unique target demographic, but it still needs help in packaging and flavor if it is going to have widespread success.
