Red Eye Gold is the dessert wine of energy drinks. Featuring a whopping 49.5 grams of carbs per 12 oz bottle, the product is almost shockingly sweet. Its flavor resembles a vanilla or honey, with overtones of its guarana berry extract influencing. The packaging is attractive, but we can't help but think about the distribution issues created by its glass packaging. Furtheremore, potential North American buyers might not readily recognize this product as a energy drink. This beverage would make an ideal mixer for an alcohol based drink.
